Team Picnic PostNL coach Roy Curvers: “The AlUla Tour has become one of the traditional season openers in our race schedule; and it’s an event to look forward to for the sprinter and puncheur type riders in the bunch. We bring a good mix between experienced pro’s and guys that are new in the team who will make their debut in our colours at the race. With that mix in mind, we aim to fine-tune our teamwork and go for day results in every stage. On the sprint days we aim to bring Fabio into contention so that he can get used to sprinting again in the finals, while on the more demanding days we will support Bjorn and Frits to give it their best.”
