Team Picnic PostNL coach Davide Gani: “Copenhagen Sprint is, as the name suggests, a race that on paper suits the pure sprinters and is likely to end in a bunch sprint. However, it is far from a straightforward race, with several challenges throughout the course and a highly technical final circuit that can make positioning crucial. Our goal is to stay in the heart of the race at all times and avoid finding ourselves in a position where we have to chase events. To achieve that, we will need to use our team in the best possible way, staying attentive to the key moments and supporting our sprinter throughout the day. At the same time, we want to remain flexible and ready to take advantage of any other opportunities that may arise as the race unfolds.”
