Team dsm-firmenich PostNL coach Luke Roberts: “The Deutschland Tour once again kicks off with a short 2.9 kilometre prologue which will be an intense start for the guys. In the two days after, there will be some interesting climbs in the finals where the GC can be shaped up, but depending on how the peloton races, they can also come down to a reduced bunch sprint. The final two sprints will be good options for sprints and we will look after Niklas as our finisher for these days in his home area. For the GC we will look after Kevin as our finisher, and he has showed he is in great shape in the last races. Alongside those guys we have Vincent and Ryan from our Development program joining us to gain some experience racing with the Men’s program and our stagiaire Bjoern is lining up for his second race with the team.”
