Team Picnic PostNL coach Joey van Rhee: “Dorpenomloop Rucphen is raced on a large circuit that we cover multiple times. Parts of the course are sheltered by forest, but the wind can still play a significant role depending on the conditions. For some of our riders, this will be their first elite-level race, an important step in their development. We need to be ready from the start for all possible scenarios. If the wind doesn’t split the race, we’ll need to stay sharp and attentive to breakaways. And if it comes down to a sprint, we always have a fast option in Milan.”
