Team dsm-firmenich PostNL coach Joey van Rhee: “Drenste Acht van Westerveld will be a race where the weather could significantly impact the outcome. We are hoping for strong winds during the race, which will allow us to demonstrate our strength as a team in the echelons. The race will be held on a local lap with small, open stretches where wind could create chaos. Riding together as a unit will be important from the start onwards, to make sure that we are in the best position to create opportunities. While we must adapt to various race scenarios, we are well-prepared. We will remain sharp for attacks, but if the race culminates in a bunch sprint, our focus will be on supporting Rachele as our finisher, who has already showcased her abilities at the UAE Tour last month.”
