Team Picnic PostNL coach Albert Timmer: “Fleche Ardennaise is a really challenging .2 level race in Belgium, where the road is up or down for most of the day. The riders will have to take on over 3500 altimeters which makes it an attritional day in the saddle. The route is the same as in last year’s edition, and there we saw a hard tempo all day, much like in 2024 when we last participated. With our Development program we want to continue to focus on the getting the basics right, riding well as a unit, and putting ourselves in a position to be in the race when it opens up over the climbs.”
