Team Picnic PostNL coach Matt Winston: “La Doyenne is one of the most prestigious races on the calendar and always a demanding test of endurance and race craft. This year, we approach the race with a focus on being active and present throughout the day. We want to race aggressively and look to anticipate key moments. With riders like Frank and Bjorn, we have strong options to be involved in moves, while Chris and Gijs return from the Tour of the Alps and can also play an important role in the race. The key will be to stay sharp in the positioning towards the decisive climbs and to make the right moves at the right time. By racing proactively as a team, we aim to be part of the action deep into the final and fight for the best possible result.”
