Team Picnic PostNL coach Rudi Kemna: “Paris–Roubaix is one of the most demanding and iconic races on the calendar, and that’s just as true for the U23 peloton. The cobbled sectors require not only strength and technical skills, but also full commitment and strong teamwork from the very start of the race. We approach this race as a collective, where every rider has an important role to play. Being well-positioned heading into the cobbled sectors is crucial to stay out of trouble, manage the chaos, and minimise the risk of mechanicals, which are always part of this race. That means we need to be sharp and work together from the first kilometre. If we execute that well and stay in the race as a group for as long as possible, we can put ourselves in a position to play our cards in the final. The team is highly motivated and ready to take on the challenge together.”
