Team Picnic PostNL coach Christian Guiberteau: “Paris – Tours is always a race where teamwork and positioning are crucial, particularly as we approach the final part of the course. With the gravel sectors and short climbs coming one after another in the final part of the parcours, the race can change quickly and there are plenty of opportunities for splits to occur. We want to stay attentive throughout the day, be present in the important moves and use our different options as effectively as possible. Staying together through the difficult sections and supporting each other will be key so that we can give ourselves the best possible chance of a strong result in Tours.”
