Team Picnic PostNL coach Bennie Lambregts: “The Ronde van de Achterhoek is often a very tough course and a special type of race at this time of year, with the 20 gravel and off-road sections that the peloton has to take on. It requires the team to focus on good positioning throughout the entire race. Racing together as a unit should hopefully mean that we can get to the deep final of the race with multiple riders at the front; and from there we will look for our chances. It is a hard race, but also a great chance for our Development program to show that we can work well as a team against some strong opposition.”
