Team Picnic PostNL coach Albert Timmer: “It’s nice to be back racing on home Dutch roads at the Simac Ladies Tour. On paper we have five sprint stages and a short ten kilometre time trial to decide the race. However, a few of the stages travel through open areas of farmland or flat, such as on stages three and four, so we always need to be sharp as a team for any crosswind action; and we even have some gravel to contend with on the final day. In the sprints we have Rachele as a fast finisher, but we have a strong team across the board which is ready to get stuck into some attacking autumn racing.”
