Team Picnic PostNL coach Albert Timmer: “It’s the first race of the season for our Development program so our main priority is to make sure that we will put down a strong foundation for the year ahead with this group of guys, ride well together as a group, and get back into working with each other. Sportive wise, we will will see how far we can go in the GC with Jurgen and Matteo, while Thom and Christiaan are strong and fast guys for those quick finales, while Jacob can also look for day results too with some aggressive racing; and he came close to winning a stage here last year. We’re looking forward to getting our season underway in Rwanda.”
