Stage 1: Tomaszów Lubelski -> Zamość
The opening day in Poland saw the peloton battle through heavy rain during the stage. Unfortunately, Pfeiffer Georgi was involved in a crash and abandoned the race. The rest of the squad rallied around each other well and fast finisher Mia Griffin. They were in a good position going into the closing kilometre but a rider slid out in front of Griffin and that took her down. Josie Nelson and Lucie Fityus were able to avoid the crash in the group, with Nelson sprinting to fourth and Fityus following in behind for 7th place.
