This afternoon Team Picnic PostNL are happy to reveal two more additions to their Women’s program for the coming years: Mia Griffin and Dilyxine Miermont. Griffin will wear the two-striped jersey into 2028, while Miermont is contracted with the team through the 2027 campaign.

Mia Griffin
Taking up the sport of cycling in her late teens, Griffin was first and foremost a track cyclist, winning a bronze medal in the Individual Pursuit as an U23 in the European Championships back in 2020, before going on to take third in team pursuit at the elite level the following year with the Irish national team. Combining more road racing with her track ambitions after that, 2023 saw her step-up to the WorldTour where she rounded out that season with third in the sprint at Tour of Guangxi. With 2024 being an Olympic year, Griffin focused primarily on the track, but in 2025 she returned to road racing with consistent results throughout the season. A rider with a fast finish, she took fourth in the opening sprint at the UAE Tour behind some top opposition, before a win at Tour El Salvador and taking home the national title in the Irish Road Race; alongside multiple other top tens and her debut at the Giro d’Italia and Tour de France Femmes.
Griffin said: “From the outside, Team Picnic PostNL has always looked like one of the most well-organised and professional setups in the peloton, and that’s exactly the kind of environment I want to be part of as a rider. The structure, the attention to detail, and the sense of purpose really appealed to me. What I’m most looking forward to is meeting everyone — the riders, the staff — and getting to work together as a team. I come from a track background, so I’d describe myself as a punchy sprinter type, and I’m excited to contribute to sprint-style races while learning from my teammates who bring so much experience. For me, this next step is about feeding off the knowledge within the team, growing as a rider, and finding my rhythm within the group. Off the bike, I’m quite a relaxed and easy-going person; I like to bring positive energy and a calm, upbeat vibe to the people around me.”
Team Picnic PostNL head coach Rudi Kemna added: “Mia joins us from a strong track background and the ambition to make it as a full-time road sprinter. Together we’re starting a project that’s exciting; the goal is for her to become a dedicated sprint finisher in the future, capable of competing for podiums in the biggest races. She has already shown that she can challenge the best in the world. What she needs now is time, structure, and race experience, and we’ll give her that. Next season she’ll get plenty of sprint opportunities, especially in the pure fast-finisher races. She fits our way of working perfectly: driven, open to learning, and ready to take the next step.”

Dilyxine Miermont
A former podium finisher in the French individual time trial championships as a junior back in 2018, Miermont rode for her local divisional French team after that, before starting to take on more races in 2022. Performances that year saw her move up to the Continental level in the following season. In 2023 she impressed on a variety of terrain but especially on the climbs, with a 13th place on GC at the UAE Tour and fourth on the challenging terrain of Alpes Grésivaudan Classic. 2024 saw Miermont pick up more consistent results and show herself in breakaways, which resulted in her stepping up to the WorldTour for 2025. She started the campaign strong by finishing in the front group competing for the win at Cadel Evans Road Race before seventh on Jabel Hafeet in the UAE Tour. A strong period of racing in El Salvador followed and saw Miermont take the win at Grand Prix Presidente. Strong showings on the climbs continued for the rest of the year with tenth on GC at Itzulia and seventh at the Tour of Norway, plus second on stage two of the Giro d’Italia.
Miermont said: “For me, joining Team Picnic PostNL feels like the right step at the right moment. It’s a team that’s clearly well-structured, ambitious, and always racing at the front; the kind of environment where I know I can keep growing and really challenge myself. I’m especially looking forward to meeting everyone and getting started with the first camps and races. I’d describe myself as a punchy climber. I feel most comfortable when the gradients get steeper, and I’m excited to see how far I can develop while helping the team chase big results. I bring a lot of energy and motivation, but I also like to keep things fun and relaxed when it’s needed. Finding that balance between focus and enjoyment is important to me, and I can’t wait to bring that spirit into the group.”
Team Picnic PostNL head coach Rudi Kemna finalised: “Dilyxine is one of those riders where you can immediately sense her potential. She’s a true climber; her future clearly lies in the mountains, and we believe she can one day be a GC contender for us. She has already shown flashes of that talent, like on Jebel Hafeet at the UAE Tour and in the Giro d’Italia Women. Right now, she’s still an unpolished diamond, and we’ll give her the space to develop. Next season she’ll get chances in tougher races, as well as valuable experience in support roles, especially in the finals. Positioning will be an important focus point for her, but we’re confident she has all the qualities to grow into something special.”
